Dog Digital

Edgar Property Solutions provided Glasgow based multimedia company Dog Digital with a cost effective accommodation solution, acquiring new premises, disposing of their existing offices and efficiently co-ordinating their move – all in just 9 months.

 

Challenges

Dog Digital needed to find office premises of approximately 7,500 sq ft in Glasgow City Centre. In addition, they had to dispose of their current leasehold, which had an unexpired lease term of 5 years, equivalent to a total occupancy liability of £355,000.

 

Solutions

Edgar Property Solutions began with a detailed review of the market. I identified premises in Buchanan Street which extended to 7,770 sq ft and met Dog Digital’s business and occupational requirements. I secured highly competitive terms for these premises, while agreeing to assign Dog’s current leasehold to a neighbouring tenant – a solution Dog Digital had not previously considered.

 

Extra Mile

Project managing the entire process, I ensured the move was completed without any disruption to the business or inconvenience for staff and the required date of entry was achieved. I also smoothed the process by recommending a suitable contact for the building survey and obtained landlord agreement to remedy a number of identified faults prior to Dog Digital’s entry.
