This appointment is the result of a direct recommendation from Includem, a former neighbouring occupier within Academy House, Shettleston Road, Glasgow.

The Chairman of the RICS in Scotland has appointed Martin to act as Independent Expert in connection with a rental dispute between landlord and tenant in the Aurora building in Glasgow’s Bothwell St. The dispute centres on a 9th floor leasehold interest at the building which occupies a prime location in the city’s central business district. With a passing rent in excess of £450,000 per annum, this is a key appointment for Martin to secure within the Glasgow office market.
Rapidly expanding franchise leisure operator Energie Fitness has appointed Martin as external (inhouse) property advisor. This follows a highly successful initial piece of work by EPS which secured a 75% rates reduction in connection with Energie’s East Kilbride property. Energie currently have 14 leasehold interests throughout Central Scotland with plans for a further six sites within the next 12 months. Martin’s role is to secure savings from the current property portfolio and ensure all future leases match the occupational needs of the business.
Specialist ceramic tile retailer A Andrews & Sons has appointed EPS in connection with the Glasgow’s London Road Trading Estate. EPS will be seeking to make cost savings for the retailer by negotiating minimum rental uplift.
